For over a decade, countless specialists and misdiagnoses starting at age four, I finally made an appointment for my fifteen year old to see Dr. Welch. I found him by searching online after walking out on a Harvard doctor at Boston’s Children saying “he just needs to lose weight”.All staff members at Atlantic Orthopaedics in both the Portsmouth and York offices were exceptional with us. Medical Records, Surgical Scheduling and Dr. Welch and his Medical Assistant (Claire) are beyond five star!!! Dr. Welch doesn’t usually do the procedure he did on my son unless it’s adults. We are grateful for his honesty and willingness to assist us. York Hospital where the surgery took place to fix a torn labrum/bone shaving was beautiful and had a safe COVID-19 plan in place. I highly recommend Atlantic Orthopaedics, and especially Dr. Welch!!!!!

All around great care. I am very impressed with the prompt nature of scheduling appointments and returned calls. They also have the friendliest staff including the MA, medical records, and scheduler. Dr. Welch has been very supportive, knowledgeable, and understanding during my recovery process.

I highly recommend Atlantic Ortho & Sports Medicine. Dr. Sastry and Ryan Labelle have been amazing. I would not go anywhere else.

Everyone in both the York and Portsmouth offices is great! Customer service is excellent. Dr. Morwood just did a knee revision surgery on my Mom’s knee that had been operated on twice by the original doctor and she’s always had problems with that knee. Dr. Morwood did the revision last week and she’s already getting around better than ever! Truly a very talented surgeon and one I would trust for an operation!

Outstanding experience today with Barry Cusson, PA-C, and EVERY staff member that I encountered. Courteous, sympathetic, attentive team of professionals from check-in to check-out. Barry was efficient and very effective at communicating with me in a way that I could understand. Although the answer to my issue wasn’t exactly what I wanted to hear, it was the facts and explained years of problems that I had been experiencing. I now have the tools and knowledge to manage my situation and am very grateful for having the pleasure of being treated by Barry and the entire staff at Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine!

Great experience here when receiving treatment for my ankle injury. The Atlantic Orthopaedics staff was very kind and knowledgeable. My physical therapy experience was also excellent. Absolutely the best sports medicine doctors and physical therapists on the NH Seacoast.
